Please join us this Sunday, March 2, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart for an enjoyable afternoon of music performed by the students of VCU Music.  This annual concert is a highlight of the VCU Music season as performers and audience members alike enjoy the artful surroundings and resounding acoustics of the Cathedral.

This year, music will be performed by the Guitar Ensemble, Trombone Choir, Women’s Chorus, Commonwealth Singers, Brass Choir and String Ensemble. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear such beautiful music in this grand setting.

Admission to the concert is free and donations are appreciated.  All donations received at the concert will benefit the Friends of VCU Music Scholarship Fund.  This fund is the sole source for departmental undergraduate scholarships and allows the department to recruit and reward the talented and driven students that are the heart of the VCU Music program.  Your attendance at our concerts and your generous donation give inspiration to the faculty, staff and students at VCU Music and are deeply appreciated.  If you are interested in joining Friends of VCU Music, please contact Bryan Hooten at 804.828.1169.
