Since the beginning of his career, Pascal Rogé and French music have become synonymous; this is reflected in both his recital repertoire and discography. His performances of Poulenc, Satie, Fauré, Saint-Saëns, and especially Ravel, are characterized by their elegance, beauty and stylistically perfect phrasing. Born in Paris, he became an exclusive Decca artist at the age of seventeen. Since then he has won many prestigious awards, including two Grammy Awards. He has performed in almost every major concert hall in the world and is the artistic director of the chamber music festival, La Foce, in Tuscany.
