Performatica - Dancers Go to Mexico

, Chalula Mexico, was founded a year ago by VCU alumnus Ray Schwartz, professor of Dance. It is a forum to bring together artists for artistic, intellectual and cultural exchange March 24 - April 4.

Kat Legault, dancer and Department of Theatre faculty member, will be teaching workshops in integrating voice, emotion and movement in dance, in partnering, and will perform her choreography Poor Edward and Epoch with co-choreographers Rob Petres and Damion Bond (both alumni of VCU). Lea Marshall, of Dance, will perform Bond’s solo Rio Abaja Rio and Scott Putman, also of Dance, will perform and teach workshops in Elemental Body Alignment Systems and present a paper.
